Coinbase Launches International Crypto Exchange

 


One of the major companies in the US cryptocurrency market is Coinbase. The exchange and its CEO, Brian Armstrong, have made a lot of noise regarding the US's unclear regulatory framework for cryptocurrencies.


The exchange has now made the decision to expand overseas. This is regarded as a preliminary stage in the Go Deep, Go Broad international expansion strategy of the exchange. Details indicate that Coinbase has started a global cryptocurrency exchange.


Coinbase expands internationally


According to the exchange, it chose to go public in the US because it believed that nation could support fundamental innovation. The company has now decided to also concentrate on overseas markets, where numerous countries are vying to become crypto centres.


The new international exchange, according to the specifics, will enable institutional users situated in the US to trade perpetual futures. The exchange further stated,

 “Building out a global perpetual futures exchange for digital assets will help support an updating of the financial system by making Coinbase’s trusted products and services more accessible to users of digital assets who live outside of the US.”

A strong risk management system will be present together with a high quality of client protection on Coinbase International Exchange. Earlier today, the exchange published perpetual futures contracts for BTC and ETH, with all transactions settled in USDC. Additionally, the contracts will initially provide 5x leverage.
