PEPE Coin is added (listed) to the Innovation Zone of Binance
The cryptocurrency industry regularly sees the introduction of new digital tokens, and lately, meme coins inspired by the popularity of Dogecoin [DOGE] and Shiba Inu [SHIB] have been dominating the scene. PEPE, a recently launched meme coin, rose to fame quickly and has claimed a listing on several exchanges across the industry, but its legitimacy has been questioned because it is so new to the ecosystem.
This belief might soon change when Binance, the biggest cryptocurrency exchange in the world, announced that PEPE would be added to its platform. Floki Inu [FLOKI], a well-known meme coin, joined PEPE. It's important to remember that both of these assets were part of Binance's innovation zone.
Users can trade newly released, potentially volatile tokens that may carry higher risks compared to other tokens in the special trading area known as the Innovation Zone.
PEPE and FLOKI will be listed on Binance's platform starting on May 5 at 16:00 [UTC] in 2023, according to the company's announcement. Users can deposit money to get ready for trading even though it is not yet possible to do so. The meme coin's trading pairs are PEPE/USDT and PEPE/TUSD. Binance also intends to add FLOKI and PEPE to its list of new assets that can be borrowed using Isolated Margins. Within 48 hours, the new margin pairs will be made available. Despite the fact that this is undoubtedly good news for the recently released meme coin, the exchange goes on to claim that PEPE is useless.
The market valuation of PEPE reaches $1 billion.
The market capitalization of the meme coin significantly increased as a result of the news of this most recent listing. The asset market cap was still around $1,264,145,312 at the time of publication. The cost of the meme currency also rose as a result. PEPE's price was $0.00000285 after a daily increase of 75.8%. Additionally, the cryptocurrency just reached an all-time high of $0.00000302. As other exchanges are likely to offer the token now that Binance has done so, this upward trend may continue.
